Meet Expert Technologies Group and ANSOMAT at MACH 2026

Expert Technologies Group and Ansomat yesterday announced a joint presence at MACH 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, where they will demonstrate how manufacturers can move from error proofed manual processes to scalable, fully automated production using a single, coherent technology journey.

Located at the UK’s largest showcase for advanced engineering and manufacturing, the joint stand will feature Expert Technologies Group’s UK-made, Flexcell modular automation platform alongside Ansomat’s award winning operator guidance solutions for manual and semi automated assembly. Together, they aim to show visitors how to reduce human error, derisk automation investment, and unlock higher productivity without sacrificing flexibility or human expertise.

“At MACH 2026 we want to prove that operational excellence is not a single leap, but a journey that combines people, process and technology,” said David Bartell, Technology Director, Expert Technologies Group. “With Flexcell, manufacturers can start small, learn fast, and scale from validation through pilot to full production using the same modular platform, while Ansomat ensures that every manual and semi automated step along the way is executed right first time.”

Ansomat, a leading provider of assembly and operator guidance solutions with more than 30 years’ experience, helps manufacturers eliminate errors on the manual shop floor through step by step digital work instructions, augmented reality, and integrated process control. By digitising instructions and guiding operators through complex tasks, Ansomat reduces the risk of rework and scrap, and gives manufacturers rich performance data on their human driven processes.

“At MACH we will show how Ansomat’s operator guidance closes the loop between people and machines, and how our combined ecosystem supports the transition from smart Industry 4.0 factories to truly human centric Industry 5.0 operations,” said An-Sophie, General Manager at Ansomat. “Manufacturers will see how they can start by eliminating manual errors today, then seamlessly layer in modular automation as their products, volumes and business models evolve.”

The joint proposition is particularly suited to manufacturers in sectors such as automotive, EV, aerospace and general industrial, who face growing complexity, skills shortages and rising expectations on quality, sustainability and resilience. By combining domestic UK supply capability, modular design and error proofed human involvement, Expert Technologies Group and Ansomat aim to deliver faster deployment, lower risk, and a more resilient operational model.

MACH 2026 will run from 20–24 April 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, bringing together more than 26,000 attendees to explore the latest in manufacturing technologies. Expert Technologies Group and Ansomat invite manufacturers to visit their stand to discuss specific applications, see live demonstrations, and map out a tailored roadmap from manual excellence to smart, human centric automation.
